Longtime marketing leader steps into new role shaping the firm’s brand across the Southeast.
RALEIGH, N.C. — CR Legal Team, a personal injury law firm serving clients across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, announced that Lauren Watson Roberts will step into the role of Chief Marketing Officer. In her new role, Lauren will lead the firm’s marketing strategy across digital, creative, television, community, and social media channels, continuing to strengthen CR Legal Team’s brand and reputation throughout the Southeast.
Lauren joined the firm, then known as Crumley Roberts, in early 2020, and has since played a significant role in shaping how CR Legal Team shows up in the world and connects with its community. As Chief Marketing Officer, she will guide the Brand and Marketing Team as the firm continues to grow its reach and support its mission of Whole-Person Legal Care™.
Previously, Lauren was a professional dancer in New York City, training and assisting at Broadway Dance Center. She has performed throughout the Carolinas, Georgia, New York, and Italy and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography and a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Earlier this summer, Kimberly Sanders Roberts transitioned to the role of Chief Administrative Officer at CR Legal Team. In addition to serving as an Executive Vice President, she will work as a strategic backbone of the firm, overseeing the internal administrative functions that enable the attorneys and Team Members to do the best work possible for their clients.

Alongside Lauren’s appointment, CR Legal Team welcomes Mitchell Brown to the firm as Vice President of Creative Services. In this position, Mitchell will lead Brand Strategy and Creative Production, joining Lauren Roberts and the Marketing Team in creating content that reflects the compassion, advocacy, and expertise that define CR Legal Team.
Mitch brings decades of experience in the marketing industry, having mentored high-performing teams built on collaboration and a performance-driven mindset. Raised in Eastern North Carolina, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from SCAD Atlanta, launching a career that has spanned advertising agencies, in-house marketing departments, and business ownership.
