CR Legal Team Announces 2025-2026 CR Scholars

GREENSBORO, N.C. – May 28, 2026: CR Legal Team, a personal injury law firm committed to Whole-Person Legal Care™ throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, is proud to announce the recipients of its 2025-2026 scholarship awards. Administered through The Roberts Center for Leadership, Education, Advancement and Development – home to the CR Family Foundation and the Little Red Jumpsuit Foundation for Girls and Women – these scholarships reflect the firm’s long-standing investment in the students and communities it serves.

To date, CR Legal Team has awarded nearly $500,000 in money and technology to students throughout the Southeast.

This year’s recipients represent a range of educational paths and aspirations, from high school seniors preparing to enter four-year universities to law students working toward careers as agents of change. Together, these students represent the full spirit of The Roberts Center’s mission – driven by tenacity, grounded in dedication, and oriented toward a future they are actively working to build.

The 2025-2026 CR Scholars are:

The Chairman’s Scholarship ($3,000 each) – awarded to two high school seniors pursuing a four-year university education: Michael Wade and Aarush Jugdar

The Little Red Jumpsuit Foundation Scholarship ($3,000 each) – awarded to two women aged 16 or older pursuing education at any level: Gwendolyn Bode and Valerie Howell

The Next Step Scholarship ($3,000 each) – awarded to two community college students continuing their education at a four-year university: Tamiyah James and Josephine Soileau

The Beverly Babson Sanders Building Healthier Communities Scholarship ($5,000) – awarded in honor of the late Beverly Sanders, a CR Team Member and Registered Nurse who dedicated her career to promoting community health access, and presented to a student pursuing a career in nursing, medicine, dentistry, public health, or related healthcare fields: Ashely Leonard

The CR Legal Team Law In Action Scholarship ($5,000) – awarded to a law student who aspires to become an agent of change inside and outside of the courtroom: Tomia Gordon

“These scholars represent more than just academic success,” said Executive Vice President and Brand Consultant Kimberly Sanders Roberts. “They reflect resilience, discipline, and the determination to move forward with purpose. At CR Legal Team, investing in future leaders is an extension of our commitment to the communities we serve and beyond.”
