Matthew Roberts serves as a Partner and Chief Innovation Officer at CR Legal Team, where he helps shape the firm’s vision and direction. As Chief Innovation Officer, Matthew leads the firm’s Information Technology Department and oversees technological advancement initiatives, while collaborating closely with the Executive Team to develop firm-wide strategies that drive growth and innovation.
Matthew has been a part of the CR Legal Team Family for over 14 years and is passionate about finding modern ways to streamline the technologies the firm uses to better serve its clients. Prior to law school, Matthew worked in the Marketing Department, where he honed skills in digital marketing, production, and brand messaging. He also helped develop and implement new technology solutions that have been essential for CR Team Members to meet clients where they are and simplify the sign-up process.
Matthew attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. He then attended Campbell University School of Law, where he focused on blending law and technology to better serve his community. Matthew is licensed to practice law in Alabama and in North Carolina.
Matthew’s commitment to service extends far beyond his professional responsibilities. He has raised funds for Kenyan Water Relief Programs, working to bring clean water access to communities in need. Matthew has also served as a Committee Member for the Little Red Jumpsuit Tour and Foundation for Women, an organization committed to empowering women through education. Through this work, he has helped raise substantial funds for scholarships that support women of all ages in pursuing their educational and professional aspirations.
As he continues to grow in his career, Matthew remains focused on his core passion: helping others navigate life’s most challenging moments with expertise, innovative solutions, and genuine care.
