If you’re looking for a fun family outing this weekend, you have the option to head to the Touch a Truck Family Festival on Sunday. The Festival takes place from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Palace at Kenton Place in Cornelius. The event will allow children to climb in and explore a variety of vehicles, including:
- Emergency vehicles – Fire Truck, Ladder Truck, Police Car, State Hwy Patrol, Children’s ambulance
- NASCAR vehicles
- USPS Postal vehicle
- Construction vehicles
- Hummer H2, Dump Truck, Bulldozer, Mack Truck
- Boats, helicopters, race cars and much more
- Pony rides
Come stop by the CR Legal Team ’ Safety Zone at the Festival, where we will be giving away various safety items and pamphlets for children and adults about different ways to stay safe on the roads, in sports, and in many other environments.
Concessions will be available for purchase, and although admission is free, donations can be made to benefit Addi’s Cure. Touch a Truck started in 2007 as a fund raiser for Addi’s Cure, a non-profit benefiting cancer research.
