GREENSBORO, N.C., March 5, 2012 — For parents and caregivers trying to keep up with the newest car and booster seat safety recommendations, CR Legal Team will host a free car seat safety check on Friday, March 9, 2012, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. The event is open to the public and will take place at the Wal-Mart in Greensboro, located at 121 Elmsley Drive, Greensboro, NC, 27406.
The event will offer free car seat safety installation checks; education on when to move to the next type of seat, including booster seat and seat belt, as well as information on expired seats. Child safety is a hot topic with many new rules and safety regulations being updated. Volunteers from CR Legal Team , as well as trained and certified child passenger safety technicians, will be on site to answer any questions as well as help with the installation of car seats.
“Parents invest lots of money in car seats and want to make sure their children are as safe as possible while riding in the vehicle,” added Stephen Keaney, CR Legal Team ’ Community Relations Manager. “We want to make sure that they are installed correctly and that parents have a clear understanding of how to properly install their child’s seat before they leave the event.”
