HICKORY, N.C. – March 21, 2012– Morgan McNeil, a high school senior at South Caldwell High School has been selected as CR Legal Team ’ 2012 Extreme Dorm Makeover contest winner. As the winner, Morgan will receive a prize package valued at $1,200 to transform her dorm at N.C. State, where she will be enrolled as a freshman in the fall. On Wednesday, CR Legal Team ’ representatives met Morgan and presented her with an early portion of her winnings, a $200 gift card to Target.
The contest, conducted on CR Legal Team ’ Facebook page, ran from early January to March 1st. McNeil was one of many students to enter the contest by “liking” the CR Legal Team fan page and completing an application online. The purpose of the giveaway was to help offset some of the necessary college expenses to combat the increasing tuition rates across the country.
Morgan will be majoring in genetics at N.C. State. She will be starting in June in the Summer Start Program and housed in the Women in Science and Engineering Dorm. When asked about her response to winning the contest, Morgan said: “I entered on a whim not really expecting to win – I thought it was a cool prize. I actually forgot about it until I got the call from CR Legal Team .”
The firm will be following Morgan on her journey to college and will be updating its Facebook™ and YouTube™ Channels with details as they occur. Pinterest® fans are invited to follow us at: www.pinterest.com/crumleyroberts so we can repin dorm décor suggestions.
